Windy City Story Slam NFP is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
The Windy City Story Slam is organized to operate exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code, and, more specifically to educate the public about the literary and oral history tradition of Chicago storytellers through modern oral storytelling events; to record modern oral histories for preservation purposes; to promote literacy and storytelling interest in communities of all racial, economic, social, and educational backgrounds.
Contributions are deductible under § 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).
